Project Outcomes
EduMobility 2.0 combines digital learning, programming, artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing and practical vehicle development. The project aims to turn complex emerging technologies into accessible learning resources and real hands-on experiences for vocational education.
From Digital Knowledge to Real Vehicles
Four connected outcomes form the educational and technical core of EduMobility 2.0. Together they connect theory, software, digital technologies and practical engineering.
Interactive Learning Platform
A free and accessible online learning platform will act as the central knowledge hub of EduMobility 2.0. Structured learning materials will cover ADAS, sensor technologies, autonomous vehicles, electric mobility, programming, machine learning and prototype development.
Applied Programming & Machine Learning
Learners will work with programming and intelligent systems through practical challenges. Activities connect code with sensors, vehicle behaviour and autonomous decision-making, allowing students to see how software controls real physical systems.
VR, 3D Printing & Digital Prototyping
Digital manufacturing and simulation technologies will connect virtual development with physical construction. Learners can design components, test ideas digitally, manufacture parts and understand how a modern engineering workflow moves from a digital model to a working physical system.
Functional Autonomous Vehicle Prototypes
Small-scale functional autonomous vehicle prototypes will bring together mechanical construction, electronics, sensors, actuators, programming and autonomous movement. They allow learners to move from individual technical concepts to a complete working system that can be programmed, tested and demonstrated.
Practical ADAS Calibration & Testing
The project also uses a real vehicle as a practical learning platform for ADAS camera and sensor calibration and testing.
Instead of relying only on expensive manufacturer-specific calibration stands, the educational setup can demonstrate the same underlying measurement and calibration principles using affordable universal targets and components.
This helps learners understand camera alignment, sensor positioning, calibration and testing principles rather than learning only how to operate one manufacturer-specific system.
What Changes for the Learner?
EduMobility 2.0 is not only about explaining new technology. Learners move from understanding systems to programming, building, calibrating and testing them.
Understand
Understand how ADAS, sensors, electric mobility and autonomous vehicle systems work together.
Program
Use Arduino, Python, ROS and machine-learning concepts to connect software with physical systems.
Build
Design, manufacture and integrate components using CAD, 3D printing, electronics and practical engineering.
Test & Calibrate
Work with sensors, ADAS cameras, calibration targets, autonomous movement and practical vehicle testing.
Accessible, Flexible & Reusable
EduMobility 2.0 is designed around practical accessibility. Learning resources will be available online, support learners at different levels and use common digital formats and open technologies wherever possible. This allows the results to be reused in vocational education, higher education, professional training and self-paced learning.
The online platform and learning resources are intended to remain available and useful beyond the funded project period.
European Knowledge Network
Each EduMobility partner enters the project with different technical and educational strengths. European cooperation allows this expertise to move across the partnership and become shared capability.
Built for Long-Term Impact
EduMobility 2.0 is designed so that its value continues after the funded project period through reusable resources, stronger institutional capability and continued European cooperation.
Curriculum Integration
Learning materials, digital tools and prototypes can become part of regular vocational teaching and future courses.
Reusable Resources
Digital materials, technical files and learning activities can continue to support future groups of learners.
Transferable Across Europe
The universal and flexible approach allows other schools to adapt the project resources to their own educational context.
Ready to Evolve
The platform and learning concepts can develop further as autonomous, electric and digital vehicle technologies continue to change.
Learn. Program. Build. Test.
EduMobility 2.0 connects digital learning with real engineering. The result is not simply a collection of educational materials, but a practical pathway from understanding emerging vehicle technology to applying it in working systems.
